Apple has launched 5G iPhone 12 series in India, but the features Apple providing this time will justify their costs?
Apple has announced its upcoming four iPhone 12 series in WWDC HI-SPEED event with new upgrades of 5G, A14 Bionic, Ceramic Shield, LiDAR and MagSafe, which will costs between $699 to $1099 (₹69,900 to ₹1,59,900) in India.

The iPhone 12 Launch Date is 13 Oct 20. 2020’s most awaited virtual event, which is eagerly awaited by all iPhone lovers, held on 13 October 2020 and Apple called this event as “HI-SPEED”. Earlier iPhone 12 launch date was assumed to be in November, but Apple surprised all to launched so early. Apple’s WWDC (WorldWide Developer Conference) is launching 04 iPhones in “HI-SPEED”.

iPhone has the best display technology and that is Super Retina XDR display with OLED.
It has many advantages over LCD since each OLED pixel has its own light which is controlled individually, pixel- precision brighter, provide rich colours and an amazing contrast ratio of 2000000:1, 2532 x 1170, 2.8 million pixels, 460 PPI display with a peak brightness of 1200 nits.
Which gives more details, increased dynamic range and precise colours. it also the support HDR video formats, Dolby Vision, HDR 10 and HLG.
It features the same 6.1-inch display size as their iPhone 11 but they have managed to reduce the display border (bezels) to make the iPhone 12 smaller.

now iPhone 12 is going to be protected with high durability of glass protection, which is called Ceramic Shield.
the ceramic shield is a new high-temperature crystallization step which grows nanoceramic crystals within the glass matrix to improve its toughness dramatically.
To make this material both tough and optically clear, the type of crystals & degree of crystallinity has been controlled very precisely.
Apple has tested for drop-test which is 4x better drop performance which makes the iPhone 12 more durable than ever.
“Ceramic Shield is tougher than any smartphone glass.” , Apple says.

iPhone 12 will be powered by Apple’s fastest ever A14 bionic chipset, which is built on 5nm process technology and packed with 11.8 billion transistors, which makes it 40% faster than A13.
So, the iPhone 12 is going to be the 1st smartphone which has 5nm process technology.
The new 6-core CPU in A14 is the fastest CPU (nearly 50% faster) in any smartphone.
A14 also featured with the fastest GPU in any smartphone. The 4-core GPU, increase image quality and overall efficiency, which gives a better result for advanced games experience and machine learning up to 50% faster graphics.
The 16 core Neural engine, capable to handle 11 trillion operations per second, which is almost 80% faster performance than earlier.
Apple has also increased the performance of CPU’s ML accelerator, up to 70% faster.

iPhone 12 has 02 cameras on the back. first is 12 MP Ultra-Wide camera ( f/2.4 aperture, 5-element lens,13 mm focal length, 120° field of view).
Another lens is 12 MP Wide camera (f/1.6 aperture, 7-element lens, 26 mm focal length, optical image stabilization, 100% focus pixels) and it is a Better low-light performance by 27%.
It uses Computational photography by adding HDR 3 to deliver a more powerful new feature in photography.
It also enables Night modes to bring out the best Photos in the night because of bigger and faster aperture, which captures more light.
And with the larger aperture, iPhone 12 video is even better, Night mode time-lapse.

Apple is introducing MagSafe with iPhone 12.

120Hz refresh rate in the display is becoming the most common feature in all upcoming smartphones, even midrange smartphone is able to equip the least 120 Hz refresh rate in the display.
Meanwhile this time with iPhone 12, it was expected to see at least 120 Hz refresh rate but somehow Apple is not providing this in any of their iPhone 12 series.
This time onward Apple is going to remove the charging brick and lightning headphones from their boxes.
